Kagadi Resident District Commissioner has directed all persons who have encroached on wetlands to immediately vacate before they are forcefully evicted.
Ruteraho Lilian made the directive last evening while monitoring wetlands within villages of Muhumbu, Mabungu, Kyengaju and Kagadi North in Kagadi Town council.
Ruteraho says many wetlands have been encroached on by developers and farmers.
She directed all the encroachers to voluntarily vacate the wetlands or else they will be forcefully evicted.
