Robbers Break Into Shops in Kakumiro

Unknown gunmen have robbed two electronic shops in Mwitazingye trading center, Mwitazingye Sub County in Kakumiro district.
The robbers raided Yasin and Buddy links electronic shops last night at around 8pm and fled with a number of smart phones worth millions of money and a yet to be established amount of cash.

Speaking to Spice FM, Denis Bangoza, a worker at buddy links electronics shop narrates that two men came in a disguise of customers before realizing that they had guns.

He adds that the robbers later shot two bullets and robbed Smart phones worth over 3.5million shillings and cash money.

Ismail Sendegeya, the Mwitanzigye sub county LCV councilor has confirmed the robbery in his area saying it has threatened the community.

He says they found a cartridge at the scene which has been taken by police to help in investigations.
He further asked residents to be security conscious hence blaming the locals for undermining curfew time.
