The brutal rape and murder of a 25-year-old woman, has shocked residents of Lusaka Middle village in Hoima City.
The deceased has been identified as Faith alias Nyakagungu who hails from of Kigorobya County in Hoima District, but has been working at Deluxe bar in Hoima City.
According to the chairperson Lusaka Middle, Man Swale has confirmed and condemned the act saying there is increased criminality in the area.
He says the body of the deceased was discovered by residents dumped in a corridor at Safari Land lodge. According to Swale, the assailants are said to have raped the lady before she was murdered.
He further cautions residents to avoid moving past curfew hours.
The motive for the savage murder of Faith remains unknown as all suspects are currently on the run.
By press time police had picked the body for postmortem.
