Two Scrap Dealers Arrested for Stealing Kigorobya Seed Secondary School Construction Equipment

Police in Hoima are holding two people on allegations of stealing metallic equipment used for the construction of Kigorobya Seed Secondary School in Kigorobya County, Hoima district.

The duo, a man and woman are scrap dealers who operate along Butiaba road near Mika Eco Resort Hotel in Kiganda village.

The two whose identities have been withheld for fear of jeopardizing police investigations are said to have stolen the equipment from Kwik Builders and Construction Company, a company contracted by government to construct the seed school.

It is alleged that one Max, an employee of the construction company connived with the two scrap dealers to steal the metallic equipment which includes tables and chairs from Katasiiha at the company workshop.
By the time we compiled this story, police in Hoima had started investigations into the matter.
