Health Workers in Masindi Accused of Selling Covid-19 Vaccination Cards

By Flavia Ajok
The Masindi District Health Officer (DHO), Patrick Baguma, has threatened to arrest all health workers who sell Covid-19 vaccination cards.

Speaking during the district Covid-19 taskforce meeting held at the Resident District Commissioner’s office premises in Masindi Town, Baguma said he has received reports of some health workers selling Covid-19 vaccination cards to people who are yet to receive the Covid-19 jab.

He warned that once nabbed, such health workers will be charged in courts of law.
Baguma also noted that many people have a bad attitude towards Covid-19 vaccine.

Speaking during the same meeting, Dr Rogers Musinguzi, the Head of Case Management at Masindi General Hospital, claimed that he had so far been approached by three people over health workers selling vaccination cards calling for stringent action against the accused medics.
