The deceased has been identified as Daniel Ndigizimaana, a resident of Kyamugasa LC1 in Butoole parish Kyangwali sub county.

The deceased who was inside his house was burnt to death. At the time the assailants set his house ablaze, the deceased was alone in his house.

Beatrace Arishaba, a neighbour says when they responded to an alarm made by the deceased, they discovered a thick dark smoke emanating from the burning house adding that it was too late for them to save his life since they could not manage to put off the razing fire.

Edward Tumusiime, another resident wants police to thoroughly investigate the motive behind Ndigizimaana’s death for justice to prevail.

Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says they managed to arrest three people who are suspected to have torched the deceased’s house that resulted into his death.
