An angry mob has lynched a suspected thief in Katikengeyo parish in Nyakarongo Sub County, Kagadi district.

Denis Nuwagaba aka Kibanda a resident of Kagugo village in Katikengeyo parish, Nyakarongo Sub County was lynched by residents after being caught red-handed breaking into a residential house belonging to Patrick Tumwesigye in Ruchiri village, Nyakarongo sub-county.

According to one Paul Magambo an eyewitness, the suspect with two other people who are on the run broke into the house at around 2am and stole two sacks of harvested beans.

Tumwesigye and his wife made an alarm that attracted residents who arrested one of the thieves and beat him to death.
