The Uganda Police Force in liaison with the Ministry of Public Service is conducting a national wide census for all pensioners and beneficiaries on the Uganda Police Force pension payroll.
The validation exercise in Albertine region is scheduled to take place on 17th-18th, 2022 at Albertine Regional police Headquarters in Hoima City.
The purpose of the exercise is to establish the existence and status of pensioners who died and are on police pension payroll to enable Uganda police force management clean the payroll and further strengthen the creation of sustainable policies, system, programs and strategies for effective management of pension and retirement benefits for Uganda Police Force.
Julius Hakiiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says those who will not appear for the exercise shall be deleted from the pension payroll and reactivation shall be upon physical appearance.
He notes that the pensioner’s beneficiaries are required to come along with their national Identification cards /Letters of administration /death certificate for the deceased and a filled copy of life certificate for those who are 75years and above.
He calls on the public upon l Public to embrace the exercise.
