Singer-turned-politician, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has given his opinion about the battle between his fellow singers, Bebe Cool and Dr Jose Chameleone.

It should be noted that the modern-day Ugandan music industry has evolved around these three. They are actually referred to as the Big 3 musicians.

In the past couple of weeks, talk has been making rounds in the public that Chameleone and Bebe Cool will be squaring off with each other. The two have also already confirmed. It’s only just a matter of time before they square down with each other.

Apparently, former Sanyuka TV presenter Isaac Kawalya Kaiyz got a chance to interview Bobi Wine in the US. He asked the self-styled ghetto gladiator about this battle.

Wine’s answer was just as blunt as expected. He said that he doesn’t have the time to delve into such matters because he has more important issues to address than the two.

Besides, he bragged that he battled the two of them and won. However, he doesn’t see the essence of a battle between the two when the industry is in a sorry state.

“I really don’t have time to sit down and discuss the two because I’m much bigger now. The industry is also much bigger than two individuals. Actually, I have also ever battled these two musicians. At first, I battled Chameleone and ‘Baby Cool’ later. I won and anyone disputing this can visit the archives,” he said.

Chameleone and Bobi Wine squared off in the Battle of Champions in 2012 before a fierce showdown with Bebe in 2013.

Well, most analysts say Bebe Cool won this battle but it always depends on one’s favourite artist to come with an opinion of the better.
