A dramatic confrontation unfolded at the Burandya trading center in Mahango Sub County, Kasese district when two married women engaged in a heated exchange of words, ultimately leading to a physical brawl over a man.

According to Mr. Josephat Bwambale, the chairperson of Nyamutswa village and a witness to the incident, the dispute began when Mrs. Kanyughutha ordered her husband to leave the bar operated by Ms. Rafairina Kabugho.

Mrs. Kanyughutha accused Ms. Kabugho of financially exploiting her husband, Mr. Patrick Kanyughutha, and engaging in extramarital affairs with him.

The initial verbal confrontation quickly escalated into a physical fight, with both women throwing punches and grappling on the ground as onlookers cheered.

Mr. Josephat emphasized the importance of respect in marriage and pointed out that infidelity not only posed health risks but also threatened the stability of a marital relationship.
